![]() ![]() I couldn't find the uninstaller in control panel, as it is part of the suite Dell installs. My suggestion, if DDP is installed - rebuild the machine. I even tried an earlier version of the install (version 2.6, which DDP is supposed to support). You see, I didn't mention that I had killed some services running in the background (which I later found out were related to DDP) which allowed website access and let me initiate the Dropbox install. Eventually, I had to resort to drastic measures to fix the problem - completely rebuilding the computer without DDP, which is what I'm working on this morning.Īlso, my previous post wasn't entirely correct. I battled this for the better part of yesterday afternoon. But for some reason, it completely blocks Dropbox and Box.com from loading websites or installing the app. Let me ask you this Mohamed A., Are you using reasonably new Dell computers? Do they have Dell Data Protection Suite installed?ĭDP is supposed to encrypt cloud data to make it more secure to use. ![]()
